The Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) is accepting applications for a Loan Officer. AVCOG is a quasi-municipal government organization serving communities and businesses in Androscoggin, Franklin, and Oxford Counties.
The Loan Officer is primarily responsible for developing loan applications, underwriting and servicing loans to small businesses for AVCOG’s Federal, State and local revolving loan fund programs.
AVCOG is seeking candidates with three years of commercial lending experience and/or economic development. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or related field.
Candidates should have good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills; demonstrated careful attention to detail and accuracy; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; and demonstrated ability to work successfully as a part of a team.
This is a full-time position operating out of AVCOG’s Auburn location. AVCOG provides a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
