Committees
By-Laws Committee
Meets as necessary to review the AVCOG By-Laws and recommend amendments to the by-laws.

Finance Committee
Meets on a quarterly basis to review agency finances. Reviews budget and workplan, annual audit, fund disbursement and financial procedures.

Nominating Committee
Meets once per year to assist in the development of AVCOG’s slate of officers.

Program & Planning Committee
Establish programmatic policies and procedures for AVCOG activities. Annually analyze conditions, identify problems and opportunities, affirm/modify the vision, goals and strategies, and evaluate and update the process. Participates in establishing criteria and performance measures for evaluation of the process; semiannual review of CEDS accomplishments.

Revolving Loan Fund Committee
The purpose of the RLF Committee is to oversee AVCOG loan programs funded by the Economic Development Administration and the Farmers Home Administration

Transportation Committee
Meets as necessary to assess and review needs, priorities, and opportunities for all modes of transportation. The Transportation Committee is expected to make recommendations regarding those needs, priorities, and opportunities, as appropriate, to the AVCOG Executive Committee and the Maine Department of Transportation (MDOT).
