Environmental Depot Location

• Co-located with the Lewiston Solid Waste Facility
  424 River Road in Lewiston near the Wal-Mart Distribution Center

• We have completed all scheduled household hazardous waste Depot collections for this year.  Thank you to all that participated!

Participating Municipalities

• Residents of participating towns in the Androscoggin Valley Council of Governments (AVCOG) region are subject to a limit set by your municipality. You will be charged $31 per unit (a unit is 5 gallons of liquid or up to 20 pounds of dry waste) if you exceed the limit. Please check back in May for more information on participating towns and limits set by your municipality.   

Non-Participating Municipalities

• Residents will be charged $36 per unit (a unit is 5 gallons of liquid or up to 20 pounds of dry waste).
